QIAA OFFICE LOCATION RESOLVED
Our landlord has given us the go-ahead to begin our move into our new office.
(Really our old office! - as a lot us may remember.) We're moving down the hall to the opposite end
of the building - where we originally started seven years ago.
This finally resolves the confusion over our future where abouts. We are negotiating towards occupancy.
2000 SHARATHON ATTENDED BY 4870
Attendance at our Holiday Sharathons exceeded last years by several hundred AA members.
1409 people at Thanksgiving and 3461 during the December holidays helped us to provide a safe and sober
place 24 hours a day during these holidays. Donations ($3717) were also up over last year.
QIAA SEEKS NEW SHARATHON SITE
Due to our landlord's renovation of the entire building, we will lose our meeting room space.
It is highly unlikely that the 2001 Sharathon can be held at the old location.
The QIAA Board has already begun a search.
We need possible sites or even ideas about the kind of places to look for.
Church sites are iffy since the biggest Sharathon meetings take place the days on which most Churches are
holding their holiday services. Other considerations are financial, the site must be affordable.
The site should be easily accessible for public transportation and not too residential.
We try to be quiet - but we are also joyful and full of sober good spirits.
And available round the clock!

QUARTERLY DELEGATES MEETING RESUME
At the last Delegates' Meeting, the Delegates decided to revert to our old format of Quarterly rather than
Monthly Meetings. The first to be March 3, same day and place but at 10:00 A.M. immediately after the
Exchange Meeting that day. Our by-laws provide that the QIAA Board determine the time and place of
the Delegates Meetings and we're trying to come up with a formula that will make it
convenient for Group Delegates to attend.
REMEMBER! IT'S YOUR INTERGROUP.
THAT TIME OF YEAR
We're beginning to prepare the 2001 Meeting Book - our tenth.
We've done a mailing asking all groups to confirm their meeting information.
Deadline for changes is March 20.
Remember the Meeting Book is only as accurate as the information you and your groups furnish.
