ATTENTION ALL QUEENS COUNTY
GENERAL SERVICE REPS AND DISTRICT
COMMITTEE MEMBERS!!!
The Queens County General Service Assembly Meeting
has moved to St. Mary Gate of Heaven Church
(the meeting place of the "Stick with the Winners" group)
at 103rd Street and 101st Avenue in Ozone Park.
The remaining 2005 meeting dates are: April 25th,
June 27th, August 29th, October 31st and December 26th.
Please pass the word to other GSRs and DCMs you
know. New GSR orientation will take place at 7:00pm;
the regular meeting starts at 7:30pm.

NEW QUEENS INTERGROUP STEERING
COMMITTEE POSITION CREATED
The position is Liaison to GSO/SENY Area 49 of
Alcoholics Anonymous. The volunteer must have three
years of sobriety, an understanding of the AA Service
Structure, and an understanding of the 12 Steps,
12 Traditions and 12 Concepts for World Service. This
will be a voting position with a two-year term of office,
elected in even-numbered years. The election will take
place at the June Delegates meeting.

The responsibilities are as follows:
·Attend monthly QIAA Steering Committee and quarterly
Delegates meetings.
·Attend and represent QIAA at all Southeastern
New York Area 49 (SENY) meetings including Area
Assembly meetings, quarterly Intergroup Liaison meetings,
Committee meetings and Queens County meetings.
·Report back on all SENY Services Assemblys,
Queens County Assemblys, SENY Intergroup Liaison and
Service/Informational workshops, meetings and
conferences attended
·Represent QIAA at special events such as
Queens County Share-A-Day and service/information
workshops
·Volunteer at least four hours per quarter to answer phones
at the QIAA office.

Intergroup is looking for volunteers to help answer our
24/7 hotline for alcoholics in need of help. Your home
group may also want to take a shift and staff it with group
members willing to pitch in. Call Queens Intergroup at the

A.A.'s 70th BIRTHDAY–SUNDAY JUNE 12, 2005
New York Inter-Group invites you to celebrate the 70th
birthday of A.A. at The New York Hilton Hotel,
1335 Sixth Ave. between 53rd and 54th Streets in the
Grand Ballroom on the 3rd floor from 1:00pm to 3:00pm.
There will be a three speaker Open Meeting; no charge
and no tickets necessary. Just show up. The meeting will
be interpreted for the deaf.
